Message Since the solid lifter doesn't have oil flowing through it, it blocks the galley that feeds them - this causes the oil pressure to come up notably. I wouldn't worry about getting any larger pump though, the later model TT pump will do everything you need - the longevity of the engine will mostly depend on the quality of machining done to it.
